The first game is only a few months away, and Qatar Tourism has already revealed a number of exciting new attractions that will open just in time for the surge of tourists to the Gulf nation.
“There are new beaches for those who enjoy the sun, sea, and sand. For those who enjoy novelty, there are also new theme parks and hotels with water activities. For those looking for a more peaceful holiday, there are a number of new resorts, spas, and restaurants to choose from “Berthold Trenkel, Qatar Tourism’s chief operations officer, stated as much.
Qatar plans to show the world its undiscovered treasures and must-see tourist attractions in order to capitalize on the estimated one million tourists during the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Here are the top five suggestions:
Qetaifan Island North
The country’s first “Entertainment Island” will be Qetifan Island North. It will have beach clubs, floating hotels, and a water park with 36 attractions, including “The Icon Tower,” which will stand 85 meters tall and feature the world’s highest slide of its kind.
The Lusail Stadium, located near the island, will host the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar championship match.
West Bay North Beach Project
A huge new tourist destination, West Bay North Beach, is being developed in the middle of Doha. There will be 40,000 square meters of premium beachfront.
There will be three distinct beach experiences in both the public and private beach areas, as well as a variety of food and beverage options, making it a popular destination for everyone.

Fuwairit Kite Beach (FKB)
FKB, a brand-new, cutting-edge kite beach resort, is located in Fuwairit, a coastal community approximately an hour north of Doha. Fuwairit’s consistent breezes, crystal-clear ocean water, and powder-soft beaches provide for ideal kitesurfing conditions.
The resort is constructed specifically for kitesurfers, giving everything required on the water as well as more when you’re not.

Winter Wonderland
Doha Winter Wonderland will open later this year on a beach island in Qatar. Sunglasses and sunscreen are recommended.
Participants in the famed sister event in London’s Hyde Park must endure intense cold. People will be able to relax on the beach at Doha Winter Wonderland in temperatures in the mid-20s Celsius.

The new 200,000-square-meter attraction will be located in Lusail City, just north of Qatar’s capital. It will be managed by International Marketing Group (IMG), the same organization that manages Hyde Park’s Winter Wonderland each year.

The Outpost will be Qatar’s first of its type. It will be a stunning resort that blends proximity to nature, sustainability, and exceptional service in the world’s first Inland Sea natural reserve.
The desert may be experienced at the Al Wakrah Municipality, which is located in the southeast of Qatar and borders Saudi Arabia.
